Termite holes in a piece of wood

What are Signs of Termite Activity?

WHAT ARE THE SIGNS OF TERMITE ACTIVITY?

Unfortunately, termites do much of their work behind drywall, tucked away in attics, and—generally speaking—out of sight of homeowners. If unnoticed by the homeowner, many termite infestations can continue to expand and eventually cause significant structural damage to the home.

However, there are a few things homeowners can do to protect their homes from termites. Here are some signs of

termites you can be on the lookout for:

• Termite tubes climbing the exterior stem wall

• Pellet-like termite droppings in your garage

• Wood beams that sound hollow when tapped

• Termite tubes between wood beams in the attic
